My best runs happen when I have things on my mind.
Meet Charlie. He is the most amazing, adorable, sweet little boy. (And he even whispered to me that I am his favorite ;)
Cannot believe that my sister has a baby. I am a proud, happy, excited (you name it, that’s me!) sister, sister-in-law and aunt!
Can’t wait to go visit again!
Monday was an absolutely amazing day. My sister and her husband’s first baby, Charlie Eugene Kerschke (middle name after my dad! how cute!), was welcomed to the world at 4:47pm. There was a lot of waiting, cheering, crying and celebrating.
So extremely proud of my sister and happy for their new little family. And Charlie is so stinkin’ adorable I can’t even stand it!
Top picture is my family and her husband’s family after Charlie was born. Bottom left is my dad and my niece Amelia meeting Charlie for the first time. Bottom right is my brother and his family meeting him. And bottom middle is WBB with the proud new dad! (waiting for my sis to share her pics of their little man first before I share any more :)
Can’t wait to watch this one grow up and visit all THREE of my little nephew/nieces now! Yay for babies!
TEK got induced at 6:00 this morning.
Today has flown by, and my clock reads 4:20 p.m.
Where is this kid?!
He’s really dragging this out.
Knowing T, there’s been some yelling/screaming.
Hopefully she & S are still married by the time he arrives (joking).
I cannot wait any longer for updates!
And apparently AA has been sworn to silence (ridiculous)!
What is going on over there?!
I need to hear a name/status update. Immediately.
SORRY Miss Kelcy. Honestly though, he still hadn’t arrived by the time of your post on Monday :) But he is here now and he is absolutely amazing. I couldn’t be more proud of and happy for my sister. Mom, dad and baby are doing wonderfully!! More details to come!!
This was me. Walking home from Duffy’s. During Blizzaster 2011 last Feb (yes, the snow is up to my knees). Found out the offices were closed the next day and went out for drinks. Duh.
Now offices may only be closed tomorrow because it’s Saturday… but it’s still a Blizzaster out there! And reason enough for us to make it round two! In 2012!
Off to Mickey’s with WBB and KMH!!
If this snow storm interferes with me getting to Omaha tomorrow for Baby K’s arrival (I’m driving), I will NOT be a happy camper.
You guys. In less than 4 days I am going to be an AUNT again!! And this time to my first nephew, and to the first baby of my sister’s! I can’t believe my little sister is about to be a mom. So excited!!!
Now if he could just hurry up and come out! I’d like to get to Omaha already!!!
*Induction scheduled for Monday if he refuses to make an appearance before then!

“He is a physical specimen, 6-foot-9 with muscles bulging from underneath his jersey, constantly playing with the kind of energy and dogged determination that coaches lose their voices trying to cultivate.”
Thanks to LJW, this morning KMH, AMW, WBB, she and I had brunch at Table Fifty-Two (for those of you who don’t know… this is Art Smith’s restaurant - ie, Oprah’s chef). And OMG. I was so in love I just couldn’t stop taking pictures. Every single thing that came out was amazing. We couldn’t decide between side dishes, so pretty much just got like all of them for the table. YUMMO!! My favorite thing that we had was hands down the bacon. And I’m not normally a bacon girl. Super thick, crispy, salty. OMG. I wanted to get some to go.
I had the crab cake benedict, KMH had the pork belly, WBB and LJW had the fried chicken and waffles and AMW had the breakfast pizza. Sides: mac and cheese (we sat by the kitchen and I now know why it’s so good… the mound of cheese that went on it!), bacon, biscuits and gravy, pecan sticky buns and bacon donuts!!
Delish. The bloody marys were good too. And I guess for $14, they should be. Not an every weekend kind of place. But was well worth it!
Pumpkin Spice waffle and Einstein winter blend coffee. Love weekend brunch!!!!
