Ice Skating vs. Running
This morning I woke up to a beautifully sunny day in Chicago (not so common in the winter). So I couldn’t help but want to go for my run outside. Got to the lakefront and the path was closed. I guess when your running path is closed for running, but could be open for ice skating or cross country skiing, it’s time to hit the treadmill. I can’t feel my face or my lungs.

Had I seen the roads before we left the house this morning, i’d have never guessed my flight was going anywhere. Regardless, it is flying out on time this morning and we’re Epply-bound. This should be interesting.

Earlier SWA told me that all service to/from Omaha was canceled today (25th). The web site was just updated…
We plan to resume our scheduled service to/from OMA on December 26 - our resumption of service is contingent upon the surrounding roadways and airport readiness.
YAY! That’s tomorrow! My flight is tomorrow! Fingers still crossed!!

Thought we'd see how the roads were. And why not drop me at the gym in the
meantime?? Wrong. Currently stuck in my dad's SUV at the bottom of our
driveway. Been here for 30 minutes now trying to dig us out to just get
back in the driveway. Not happening. Four different neighbors have come out
to help the cause and push.
*UPDATE: With my dad + 5 neighbors (and me in the car watching) shoveling, pushing, throwing sand and rocks, we finally made it back up the driveway. Needless to say, we're snowed in.

Blackberry Issues
Went to Verizon today and got a new blackberry (The Tour). They mentioned that the Verizon server is down and it’s affecting most blackberrys and they aren’t sure when it will be resolved. That was this afternoon at 3pm. It’s now 10pm. This is putting a major damper on my tumblr posts. UGH!!
