My sister and her hubby just got back from a week long vacay in Italy. It was a loooooong week without talking to my sis! But we just so happened to be in the Ohare airport at the same time… me landing from NY and her layover before their final leg to Omaha. So I made the trek from Termimal 3 to see them in Terminal 1 before heading home. MADE MY NIGHT! That’s all :)

Last night we hit up this little Mexican restaurant on West Broadway and Houston. It felt like a little hidden gem. Really cute atmosphere and pretty well priced for the amazing food that we consumed!
None of us could decide what to order as it all sounded so good! So we ordered a few apps and a few entrees and sort of sampled them all!

NY running routes?
The thing I love about running in Chicago/LA, there’s a lake/ocean to run along. Easy mile markers, easy to navigate for directionally challenged people (me). In NY all week and have no idea where to go to run. Anyone have any tips?

If you live in Chicago and have never been to Twist, you’re seriously missing out! KBH and I went there for a late dinner Friday night. This was my third visit and I’m pretty sure it has become my fave restaurant in the city! It’s very small and they don’t take resos, but when you arrive they take your cell number and send you off to a bar nearby to have a drink and call...

Preakness Day - Arlington Park →
Heading out to the Arlington Race Track on Saturday with a group of friends to watch a live broadcast of the Preakness and bet on some horse races. Good thing minimum bet is $2. That’s probably all I’ll be betting! Should be a fun day though… basically a day long picnicking and drinking event!
