Happy 2 WEEKS to Mr. Charlie!!

Charlie’s 2 week appt. went great!! He’s a healthy 9 lbs 8 oz. already! He’s an “over achiever” as the doctor would say.  He’s in the 71% for weight and 80% for height.  Wooohoo!  It was a nice visit and great to be a little reassured that all we are doing is “right.”  He’s had a productive 2 weeks, getting in a bit of a routine for naps, sleeping mainly 3 hour chunks, some 2.5 and we got one 4 hour chunk which was amazing.  We are adjusting to less sleep gradually and luckily I have lots of help during the day to catch up if necessary, I definitely have my emotional moments.  Charlie has been quite the busy man, lunch dates pretty much everyday have kept him pretty busy.  We have definitely noticed him more alert this week and he loves his little floor gym, staring at himself in the mirror (I didn’t teach him that).  He’s gradually grown out of newborn diapers but the 1’s are still a bit big, but they work.  We are having so much fun and looking forward to the weeks ahead…hopefully with more sleep :).

*Superbowl party at Nana’s

* Sleeping and napping in his crib :)

*Smiling in his sleep

*Hanging out with his nieces (Amelia says, “Tay-Tay, Char-wee is cute.”)

Looking forward to date night with Stevo this weekend!!

Can’t. Get. Enough. And Amelia repeatedly telling them how cute Charlie is. Adorable. Can’t wait to go back in May!!
